Lucy Frisbee was the daughter of Samuel C. and Thaymer (Talbott) Van Every. Wife of Henry Frisbee and mother of Ollie Maud, Guy R., Leon Henry, Claud Avery, Mildred I., and Lucreta Mae.

She died at her home in Weeping Water, on Tuesday, March 4, of Septic fever. She came to Nebraska in March 1887 and was married to Henry Frisbee in 1889. She leaves her husband and four small children, her father, one brother and one sister to mourn her death.
