On 26 September 2019 we lost another Air Force brother. Andrew P. Baldes of Tuscaloosa Alabama. He was a close friend during our youth. He was about 4-5 years older than I. We spent a better part of our youth in the same Boy Scout Troop, where we both made Eagle Scout. He had served from about 1985-1993 (approx) can't remember. He was Security Forces and served at Clark AFB in the Philippines and PCSd from there 2 weeks before Mount Pinatubo erupted and moved to Gunter Air Force Station in Montgomery Al. Where we had a chance to get together several times. About 6 years ago he took a strong fight to early stage 4 melanoma and went into remission. Please pray for his widow as she adjusts to life without her Superman as she describes him.
