Lucille Cooper Morlock, 86, of Lee's Summit passed away on Monday, May 21, 2007 at her home.
Memorial services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2007 at the John Knox Village Chapel. Visitation will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2007 prior to memorial services at John Knox Village; burial in Orland Park, Ill.
Mrs. Morlock was born on Dec. 14, 1920 in Orland Park Jan. 29, 1968 she married Harold A. Morlock.
Mrs. Morlock worked as a secretary for Department of Treasury in Washington, D.C. and for the FDA in Chicago. She was a member of the Treble Clef Choir (JKV), MOAA, NARFE, JKV Bridge Club and also volunteered at the John Knox Village Thrift Shop.
Mrs. Morlock was a 12 years member of the Lee's Summit United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Laura Cooper, of Orland Park.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Morlock; two sons, Thomas Ricketts of Santa Fe, N.M., and Timothy Ricketts of Ottawa, Kan., and wife, Rebecca; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Eleanor Meyers, Lilas Mueller and Carol Vanek.
Memorial contributions may be made to John Knox Village.
