Margo Ann John Marley 1956 ~ 2007

McCAMMON, ID - Margo Ann Marley, 50, of McCammon, passed away late Sunday, June 17, 2007, at a care center in Pocatello, Idaho following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 26, 1956 at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma, a daughter of Lynn Morris and Betty Mae Dunkley John. She attended schools and lived in various places around the world as her father and husband were both career men in the U.S. Air Force.
She graduated from Charles M. Russell High School, Great Falls, Montana, and attended Ricks College. (BYU Idaho). She lived in the Philippine Islands, Turkey, Spain, and various locations in the United States.
On July 1, 1977 she married David Call Marley in Great Falls, Montana. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple August 4, 1978. David passed away December 3, 2003. She was a member of the LDS Church and had served in various callings including, Cub Scout leader, Young Womens leader, stake Young Womens president, and in several Primary presidencies. Her hobbies included cake decorating, gardening, crafts, canning, and music.
Survivors include her parents, Lynn Morris and Betty Mae John, Layton, Utah; father-in-law, Bert W. Marley, McCammon, Idaho; three sons, David John Marley, Pocatello, Idaho, Luke John Marley, Camp Lajeune Marine Corps Base, North Carolina, Jared John Marley, McCammon, Idaho; four daughters, Malinda Phillips, Pocatello, Idaho, Tonya (Zachary) Poulter, Roy, Utah, Amber Marley, Pocatello, Idaho, Heidi Marley, McCammon, Idaho; a brother, Keith Lynn (Colleen) John, West Pueblo, Colorado; four sisters, Camille (Donald) Holt, Katherine (Wayne) Airmet, Rosemarie Dippold, all of Layton, Utah, Tamera (Steve) Wilhelm, Jacksonville, North Carolina; five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Call Marley; and mother-in-law, Betty Marley. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2007, 11 a.m. at the McCammon LDS Stake Center, with Bishop Roger Morris, of the Mountainview Ward, officiating. Interment will be in the Norton Cemetery in McCammon. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening June 26th from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday June 27th from 10-10:45 a.m. at the McCammon Stake Center. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave.
The family would like to thank the Mountainview Ward, Access Home Care and Hospice, the doctors in Idaho and Denver, Colorado for their loving care.
