MRS. BOWMAN IS TAKEN BY DEATH

Gladyeth Louise Ferguson Bowman, wife of Herschel Bowman, of Williams, died at 6:45 p.m. Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Tumey, of 1610 First street. She had been ill the past three months.

The body was prepared for burial at the Day & Carter mortuary and this afternoon was returned to the Tumey home to lie in state. Funeral services will be conducted from the Elmwood Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Otto Duncan, pastor of the Huron Baptist Church in charge. Burial will be in the Williams cemetery.

A native of Lawrence county, Mrs. Bowman was born to Orley and Ila Sellers Ferguson November 12, 1893. She wed Herschel Bowman in 1910. She belonged to the Bryantsville Church of Christ.

Survivors, besides the husband and the daughter here, are six sons, Elbert and Arnold, of Mitchell; Orley and Miles, of Orleans; Gail and Welbon, of Williams; a sister, Mrs. Frank Myers, of Williams R. R. 1, and six grandchildren.
