JOSEPH HARPER HODGES JR., 91, of Hilton Head Island, S.C., formerly of Atlanta, died Jan. 29. The body was cremated. The memorial service was Feb. 1; The Island Funeral Home, Hilton Head Island.
He graduated from the US Military Academy in 1937. He was stationed on Oahu, HI during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
He served in the Southeast Pacific through WWII.
He was Commander of the 11th FA.
Survived by Barbara, his wife of 53 years, a daughter and two sones.
