Mrs. Sarah Morgan, Resident Near City SIxty Years, Passes
Mrs. Sarah Morgan, 83 died last night at 11:55 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Allie East, on Jonosboro R.F.D. 2. She had been in ill health since suffering a stroke of paralysis two years ago.
Mrs. Morgan was born in Mississippi. She moved to near Jonesboro sixty years ago.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. East, and one son,
of L.F. Morgan of Truman. Two step children, (may be living).
She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at four o'clock at Pine Hill Church, conducted by Rev. Joel McCracken. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in charge of Gregg Funeral Home.
