Helen was a native of Madison County, IL. and was the oldest of three daughters along with Jane and Dorothy Ann. She was the beloved aunt of Dorothy Dorris.
She married (1) Lester Igberg on April 21, 1939; they were divorced on May 1, 1942. On Christmas day, she married John Westbrook in 1958 in Pinellas County, Florida. Both resided in Alton prior to their marriage and upon marrying began residing in Saint Petersburg.
She became a Christian and worked in child evangelism fellowship for over 20 years. Her husband, John, died March 29, 2001. She entered into the nursing home February 2009 and went home to be with her Lord on April 4, 2012. She was deeply loved and will be missed by many.
