Lucy Biggerstaff Randolph Hawkins, age 89, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at The McDowell Nursing Center.
Mrs. Hawkins was born in McDowell County on November 20, 1914 to the late Bill Biggerstaff and Hattie Crowe Biggerstaff.
She was a member of East Marion Baptist Church and was retired from Marion Manufacturing Company and later retired from both Burlington Industries and Roses Inc.
Her first husband, Tilmon Randolph and second husband, James Hawkins, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by a daughter, Janell Randolph Gallion and her husband James of Marion; son, Harold Randolph of Marion; sister, Betty Parks of Morganton; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Interment will be in McDowell Memorial Park.
