Denver L’Rhue Hirrlinger, age 82, of Clarence, MO, passed away December 9, 2019 at University Hospital, Columbia, MO.

D.L. was born November 10, 1937 in Clarence to Denver and Ollie Hirrlinger. He is survived by one brother, David Hirrlinger, Panama City, FL, six children, Diane (Kyle) Smith, Lindstrom, MN, Debbie (Jon) Speckman, Monticello, IN, Brenda (Stuart) Miller, Kansas City, MO, Crystal (Carson) Matile, Newton, KS, Dustin (Mallory) Hirrlinger, Skiatook, OK, and Carie (Casey) Eytcheson, Caney, KS; 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

D.L. served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years directly out of high school and worked as a business owner for most of his life in Clarence, MO. He enjoyed hunting and outdoor life on his farm.

Visitation services will be held Monday, December 16, 2019 from 11:00-1:00 pm at the VFW Hall in Clarence, MO, with burial service to follow at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Memorials can be made to Missouri Veterans Commission, Jacksonville, MO.
