Parents of Ernest Dow Galloway were Hosea and Sarah Adeline Farr Gallaway. His obituary and Draft Registration confirms birth location as Erath County Texas.

NOTE: On family search.org....brief history section.. it notes that Ernest Dow Galloway, wife Minnie and son Benjamin Daniel living in San Saba Texas. Computer generated??? However, on the same site the actual 1930 record is a source and clearly states they were in Stephens County Texas. In addition someone has linked that same information to family tree and INCORRECT.
There is a family of Galloway in San Saba Texas. However not related or connected to our Galloway families/Ernest Dow or his father Hosea in any way.
In addition on both sites have Benjamin Daniel Galloway married to a Murray, also incorrect and impossible. A quick record review revealed she was not related to our Galloway families at all. This has caused confusion. Refer to Benjamin Daniel Galloway memorial for details and error information.
