Mr. Cain was born July 23, 1917, in Mabank, TX, and died Sept. 8 1977 in the VA Hospital in Houston Thursday night. He was a retired carpenter and had resided in Houston for the past 14 years. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and was a Baptist.

(Bob) of Houston, and Mike of Topeka, KS; daughters, Linda Steele, Janice Semple, and Julie Ann, all of Topeka, KS: step-son Paul Jackson of Michigan; mother Mrs. Myrtie Cain of Mabank, TX; sisters, Mildred Hambrick of Lufkin, TX, and Alice Havard of Corrigan, TX; brothers, E.J. of Houston and Sam of Kennard, TX; 9 grandchildren.
