Born Dec. 1, 1929, he is the son of Alf D. and Cordie Maryfield Beasley.
A 1947 Odon High School graduate, he served in the United States Navy from 1947-1950.
He worked as a computer programer at Crane NAD from 1951 through 1985. After his retirement, he worked as a grounds keeper at Crane Eagle View Golf Course.
Survivors include: a son, Jim (Tina) Beasley of Shoals; a daughter, Mary (Damon) Phillips of Odon; a son-in-law, Mike Trueblood, of Newberry, a sister, Ruth Anna Hubble, of Linton; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was proceded in death by a daughter, Susie Trueblood; and a sister Mary June Beasley.
Funeral services will be conducted at Odon United Methodist Church with Rev. Darin Hendrey officiating. Burial will be in Raglesville Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Odon American Legion and VFW posts.
