Katherine was born in Emory Texas, and lived in Winters most of her life. She married Emuel Newson on September 9, 1967 in Midland. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church.
survivors include one son Fred Thomas Glasscock of Overton Tx. three daughters Phyllis Merworth of Cove, Ark. Sondra Perkins of Franklin, Tx. Monetta Faulker of Midland. one brother Benny Ray Jobe of Ballinger, !9 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren
Preceded in death by her husband Emuel Newsom, two daugthers Fredda Elizabeth Glasscock and Betty Banister and one grandchild Missy Kay Faulkner, Franklin Tx.
