HUDNELL, MRS. EDITH ROUSSEAU, 90, of 3047 Sixth St. S, St. Petersburg, died Tuesday (Sept. 23, 1975). A native of Largo, she was a lifetime resident of the county. She was Protestant. Survivors include two sons, Louie of St. Petersburg, Jason of Miami; two daughters, Miss Eva Hudnell, Washington and Mrs. Margaret Davis, Neptune, N.J.; a brother, Talmadge Rousseau of China; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Bobbitt Funeral Chapel, St. Petersburg.

Death year on headstone is 1888, however the Florida Death Index and Social Security Records have Edith's birth as 29 Dec 1884, with age at death of 90. This tracks with all other genealogical records.

Suit for $50,000 damages against Sheriff Lindsey and his bondsmen and two local policemen who were in the party that killed W. A. Hudnell in a liquor raid in St. Petersburg recently. Formal notice of the filing of the suit has been given to the defendants. The suit was filed by Mrs. Edith Hudnell. Hudnell and his son, Roy, the latter aged 13, were killed by county and city officers.
