Linda Lue Wandrick, 64, of Stafford County passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015.

Linda shared her love of family and dogs with everyone. She was a charter member and officer of the volunteer therapy-dog group, Rappahannock Area Comfort Canines, and a member of Pet Partners and Therapy Dogs Inc. Throughout her therapy-dog career, she achieved more than 1,300 volunteer hours between multiple locations and public education events. Her favorite times included volunteering at Mary Washington and Stafford Hospitals, and participating in READ programs at local schools and libraries.

Family members include her loving husband of 45 years, Dennis Wandrick; sister Charlotte Able and husband Roger; daughter Lisa Williams, husband Rick and two children; and daughter Sharon Strange.

A memorial celebration will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at the Stafford Chapel of Covenant Funeral Service, 1310 Courthouse Road, Stafford.

Memorial donations have been requested in Linda’s honor to either the American Diabetes Association, Box 1454, Alexandria VA 22312; or the Fredericksburg Regional SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
