Sylvia Choate Dyer, 80, Clarksville, Tenn., died at 2:30 pm Friday, June 1, 2007 at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, of natural causes.
Services were at 11 am today at Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke with the Rev. Dean Anderson as the officiator. Burial was in Edgewood Cemetery.
A native of Cadiz, she was born Feb. 2, 1927, the daughter of the late Julian and Birdie Ray Cunningham Choate.
She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church, Cadiz.
Survivors include a son, Karle Julian Dyer, Trenton; a brother, George Harvey Choate, Princeton; a sister, Mary Virginia Ellis, Adairsville, Ga.; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
