Bob was the son of Ben and Jennie (Oltman) Wagner and was born in the small town of Clatonia, NE. He was a lover of people and was an asset to whatever community he was a part of, serving in the Kids at Hope group, the YMCA, the Rotary among others. His career spanned over 4 decades in the insurance business where his talents allowed him to build the agency he headed. His love for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the ace football team of his alma mater, never waned. Bob is survived by his wife, Carol, children Marti Kautz (Rick), Matt Wallace, Steve DePalma and Betsy DePalma Sperry (Mike) and eight granchildren as well as brothers Donald (Carolyne) and Roland (Bonnie) and sisters Janice (Jerry) West and Joy (Dudley) Saville. Memorial service February 19 1011 at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church, Phoenix. Bob was known and loved for his positive outlook and his great loyalty and integrity.
