Wm. Porter Wilson, born in Pa., April 27, 1842, died Oct. 11, 1919 at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 11 days. Enlisted in the Civil War Feb. 24, 1864 in Co I 122 Regiment of Ohio Infantry. Discharged June 26, 1865. Married Miss Laura Keller in 1863. 9 Children. Wife and 2 children preceded in death. Joined Free Methodist Church early in life. Resident of Mo. for last 28 years. All but 2 children present at the funeral. Buried in New Cemetery (Hillcrest).
