July 15, 1947 - November 28, 2019 ASHDOWN, Linda Jean age 72 of Hamilton, Ohio went home to meet the Lord on
Thursday November 28, 2019 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Portland, Maine
on July 15, 1947 the daughter of Don and Esther (Direnzo) Newton. Survivors include
her Brother, Don (Toni) Newton Jr.; daughter, Christine A. Powell (Sam Martin),
Grandchildren Branden Nohrer and Jessica Powell, Great Grandchildren Isabel, Nariah,
and Tilynne. Daughter Paula M. Prater; grandchildren, Danesha McKinney, Great Grand
children Erajae, Jeron Jr., Jayahna, Ja’aliyah, Robert Jr. Granddaughter Ashley Scott
Great Grandchildren Ma’leah, Maliki, and Bryson and several nieces and nephews that
she thought the world of.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Paul F.
Ashdown.
The family would also like to give a special thanks to her sisters Charlotte and Rhonda
and also a dear family friend Susan for taking time from their families to be with ours.
Our deepest thanks also to the Nurses and Staff of Hospice of Cincinnati on Eaton Ave.
In Hamilton, especially Trish, Bobbi, Lisa and Keri. They were more than helpful
and compassionate.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646
Pleasant Avenue, followed by burial in Hickory Flat Cemetery
