FRIDAY, JUNE 17, 1927

William Blood was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Blood, was born and grew to manhood in this city. He was a bricklayer by trade and a member of the union in Chicago. He was considered an efficient workman and had many friends among his fellow workmen.

William Blood was born in Momence, Ill., Jan. 14, 1884 and at the time of his death was 43 years and 6 months of age. He attended the schools of this city. When quit young he learned the bricklayers trade at which he became an expert.

He leave to morn his death his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Blood of this city, three sisters, Mrs. John Hayhurst, Lowell, Ind.; Mrs. Beulah Williamson, Shelby, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. A. Teissedre, Chicago Heights, one brother, Al Blood of Gary, Ind.; one niece Flodean of Chicago Heights.

Funeral services were held from the Canaday funeral parlor, conducted by Rev. Taylor of Chicago Heights Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and was largely attended by the Loyal Order of Moose and the Bricklayers Union of which the deceased was a member.

The floral offerings were many and beautiful.

Those attending the funeral from out-of-town were as follows: Mrs. John Hayhurst, Lowell, Ind.; Mrs. Beulah Williamson, Shelby, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. A. Teissedre and daughter, Flodean, Chicago Heights; Alfred Blood, Gary, Ind.; Mrs. Myrtle Hedger and family, Steger, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. George Sparr, Maywood, Ill.; Alfred Ritter, Chicago; Mrs. Hattie Ritter and son, Kitchel, Bradley, Ill.; Mrs. and Mrs. Otto Caiahan and Elmer Fuller, Steger, Ill.; Mrs. Viola Fuller, Chicago Heights, Ill.

We which to thank our many friends and neighbors, the Bricklayers Union the Loyal Order of Moose for their many acts of loyalty shown us during the terrible ordeal, through which we have just passed. We liked to thank Mr. and Mrs. Canaday for their kindness and the excellent service rendered us to help make the burden lighter. Also for the flowers, silent messages of love, sent by friends. We thank you one and all.
