Robert Duane Brown, age 82, of Colby, died Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at his home in Colby. He was born September 27, 1937 in Chardon to Henry and Ruth (Hutchinson) Brown. Duane married Doris Ludolph on June 23, 1957 in Colby. He was a lineman supervisor for the city of Colby.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ruth, half-brothers: Bethal and William Brown, half-sisters: Clara Bergstrom, Wanita Touslee, Angie Lee, and Roma Nickel, brothers: Bernard and Donald Jay, sister, Willa Jane Brown, son-in-law, Jack Moore, and granddaughter, Amanda Kay Moore.

Survivors include his wife Doris, five children: Rodney (Ileen) Brown of Kalispell, MT, Ron Brown of Russell, Don (Debbie) Brown of Independence, Connie Moore of Gothenburg, NE, and Sheila Williams of Colby, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister-in-law, Carolyn Brown, Tennessee and brother-in-law, Bob Maris, Missouri.

Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Colby United Methodist Church. Inurnment will follow in Beulah Cemetery, Colby. No visitation. Memorials to United Methodist Church c/o Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, Oakley 67748.
