Betty J. Boyer 81, Sheridan, IN, died July 16, 2007. She was born March 28, 1926 in Hamilton County, IN to Harry A. and Lola A. (Kinnamon) Arthur. She and her late husband owned and operated Boyer Heating and Electric of Sheridan for over 20 years. They also established and were the owner operators of the Sheridan Dairy Queen, until they retired in 1978. She was a member of Sheridan First Christian Church and was a 1944 graduate of Noblesville High School.
She was preceded in death on August 24, 1979 by her ex-husband, Donald A. Boyer, whom she married on August 4, 1945; sisters, Lucille Davis and Alice Harrison. Survivors include sons, Garry Boyer of Sheridan, Roger (Stephanie) Boyer of Fishers; daughters, Rebecca (Ronald) Jones of Lizton, Janice (Mark) Hieb of Lexington, Indiana; seven grandchildren and three nephews.
Services were entrusted to Kercheval Funeral Home of Sheridan, Indiana.
