Mrs. Buchanan was born February 6, 1898, at Elgin, Iowa, the daughter of Christian and Alice Scoby Duby. On Oct. 4, 1922, she was married at Kansas City to Jesse Buchanan, who died January 4, 1974.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include; one daughter, Mrs. Lilah Shikles, California; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Hammel, Kansas City; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Phillips Funeral Chapel, Eldon. Burial will be in the ENLOE CEMETERY, Russellville.
