Wiebke Maria Magdalena (Pageler) Fleming was born to her loving parents Gerhard Hinrich "Henry" and Catharina Marie (Kruth) Pageler on Saturday March 3, 1888 at Cedar Bluffs, Saunders County Nebraska. My research found no information on Wiebke's childhood or schooling. Wiebke was united in marriage to Robert Fleming on Tuesday December 31, 1912 at Cedar Bluffs. The couple over the years of their marriage was blessed with three sons and two daughters. They were farmers up until Robert passed in 1962. Wiebke was a lifetime resident of the Morse Bluffs and Cedar Bluffs area. Wiebke was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cedar Bluffs. On Friday March 6, 1987 Wiekle celebrated her 99th birthday which was the previous Tuesday. The celebration was held at the Birchwood Manor in North Bend, Dodge County with her family present. Cake was served and her family helped open the many cards she received. Sadly Wiebke passed at the Birchwood Manor on Saturday January 30, 1988 at the age of 99 years, 10 months, 27 days which does not include her last day, she lived a total of 36,491 days. Wiebke's funeral service was held at the First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Bluffs on Tuesday February 2, 1988. Cathy Maasdam was the pianist and Mary Lou Satorie was the organist. Dick and Mary Lou Satorie performed a duet. Wiebke was interred in the Fleming Cemetery west of Cedar Bluffs, Saunders County. Wiebke's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Wiebke by Loren R. I believe all lives matter, even the lives of those who have passed. Many details are still missing from her life, if you have any more details I will be happy to edit the additional information into this biography. Please send your info to me at my email address [email protected]
