On Apr. 30, 1707 at Windsor, Conn. (by John Moore, JP), Nathaniel m. Elizabeth Strong, dau. of Lieut. Return Strong and Sarah Warham. They had one known child of record, b. at Wethersfield:
• i. Nathaniel Boardman, Jr., b. Feb. 19, 1711/2; m. Feb. 28, 1733/4 at Wethersfield (by Rev. Daniel Russel), Ruth Parker.

• We whose names are hereunto subscribed heard Nathaniel Boreman of Wethersfield declare as his will that the movable estate that he hath be given to his wife to dispose of as she pleaseth, and all the rest of my estate during her natural life. But after her decease my mind is that my son shall have my lands if he attain to the age of twenty-one years, but if not, my lands to be equally divided between my brother's sons and my sister Sarah Fitch her son Samuel.
• Also, I do oblige my wife to bring up my son to good learning.

The widow Elizabeth m. 2) Jan. 6, 1713/4 at Wethersfield as his 2nd wife, Capt. William Warner, Jr., s. of Dea. & Lieut. William Warner and Hannah Robbins. Capt. William Warner, Jr. was Nathaniel Boreman's nephew, being the s. of the sister of Nathaniel's brother-in-law John Robbins, Jr. (husb. of Nathaniel Boreman's eldest sister Mary).
