Joyce L. Martin passed away at 76 years of age on November 21, 2019 surrounded by love and family.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Prairie Lea Cemetery, Brenham, Texas.

Born July 11, 1943 in Houston, Texas, to Henry Charles and Lavina Catherine Braun; she married the love of her life, Jack R. Martin, on August 15, 1975 and loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.

She is survived by two sons, Jack R. Martin Jr. and wife, Judi, and Dana G. Martin and wife, Crystal; and daughter Candace C. Martin; as well as her very special “son”, Cisco Rojas and wife, Maria; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also surviving her are many cherished nieces and nephews, plus so many extra special friends in the Latium community and in Houston, including her almost-sisters Patti, Jan and Beverly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Robert and Ernest; and sisters Catherine and Lois.

In support of the community she so dearly loved and where she lived a full and happy life, the family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Latium-Wesley-Greenvine Volunteer Fire Department, 12255 FM 389, Burton, Texas, 77835, OR Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Latium, 1801 S MO Pac Expressway, Austin, Texas, 78746.
