Minta was born in 1874 to William Garrett and Susan Grider. She spent most of her life in Missouri, until after 1911 when her husband, Albert Monroe Kendall, moved the family to Washington. Minta passed away in 1922 at 47 years old. She was returned to Missouri to be buried with her parents.
