Wanda Lee (Summers) Barnhill, 89, of Harrisburg, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born in Grubbs, Arkansas, the daughter of Fred and Helen (McAllister) Summers. Wanda was a member of the Greenfield Assembly of God Church for many years, was a homemaker, enjoyed raising kids and spending time with her grandchildren In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Barnhill, daughter, Cheryl (Barnhill) Emerson, a brother, a great great-grandson, Sawyer Morgan, and a son-in-law, Granville Emerson. She is survived by two daughters: Connie Morris of Drasco, Arkansas and Lynn Gentili of Kansas City, Missouri, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters. Bro. Tim Hale, Pastor First Baptist Church, Harrisburg will conduct the service. These men will serve as pallbearers: Jeb Bass, Randy Morris, Jason Morris, Corey Morris, Justin Morgan, Tyler Morgan, Michael Gentili, Case Bass, Reid Williams and Jackson Teague. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Tribble, Phil Williams, Jim Teague, Kurt Jones, Gary Sanders, Jacob Harper and Jeff Morris. Funeral services are 3:00 P. M. Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 1:00 P. M. until time of service. Interment will be in Wilson Cemetery.
