Mrs. McCorkle was born July 15, 1936 in Catawba County, a daughter of the late John R. and Grace Warlick Holton.
She was a member for 56 years of East Valdese Baptist Church and retired form Corbett Hosiery and FootHills Area Programs.
Mary was a loving wife, mother grandmother and a friend to all that came in contact with her. She loved spending time with her family and working out doors.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Blanche Crump and husband Ray Crump.
A Crypt Side Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday November 19, 2019 in the Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum, where the body will lie in state for 30 min. prior to services. The Rev. Lee Harris and Rev. Greg Klapp will officiating
