A Taylorsville resident, Mr. David Louis Fenwick, age 55, walked into glory Monday, November 18, 2019 at his residence. He was born January 2, 1964 in Lebanon to the late John Albertus and Mary Margaret Nalley Fenwick. David was a retired wood worker, was a United States Army Veteran, and was a member of Chaplin Baptist Church. He enjoyed carpentry, fishing, spending time with family and friends, studying God’s word, and telling others about Jesus Christ.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Henry Anthony Fenwick, John Albert “Johnny” Fenwick, Francis Alan “Frankie” Fenwick, a sister, Mary Rita Taylor, and a nephew, Kevin Ray McCauley.
He is survived by his wife, Glenita Wyatt Fenwick, 2 daughters, Stacey (Bruce) Cornish, Amanda (Kevin) Chilton, both of Chaplin, 2 granddaughters, Sydney and Abby Cornish, 3 grandsons, Isaiah, Daniel and Jacob Chilton, 2 brothers, Kenny Fenwick of New Haven, Danny “Tucker” (Sharon) Fenwick of Loretto, and 8 sisters, Alma Mae Roseberry of Splendora, TX., Madonna Faye (Delmar) McCauley of Cox’s Creek, Delores (Dickie) Masterson of Louisville, Patty (Lawrence) Ballard of Bardstown, Peggy Bibb of Conway, AR., Nancy (Donnie) Miles of Loretto, Debbie (Brian) Patton of Mt. Washington, and Jeannie (Paul) Morris of Raywick. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. David Louis Fenwick will be 11:00am Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Chaplin Baptist Church. Pastor Mike Thompson will officiate. Interment will be in Highview Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Wednesday from 3:00-8:00 pm and Thursday after 9:00 am until time of the funeral service. The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
