After retirement he enjoyed his home life by painting, doing yard work, tending to his birds and spending time with family.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include his sons and daughter-in-laws, Bryan and Kristina Williamson, of Sadieville, Greg and Rhonda, of Lexington, Jamie and Julie Williamson, of Georgetown; grandchildren, Thomas, Ryan, Sara, Justin, Whitney, Luke and Dustin; brothers, Walter Franklin Williamson, of Lexington, and Harry Williamson, of Georgetown; sisters, Vada Evans, Sue Brewer, Peggy Fitzgerald, Lisa Rogers and Melissa Williams, all of Georgetown, and a host of other relatives.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home with pastor Dave Allen officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert Bailey, Harry Williamson, Jimmy Flynn, Glenn Curtis, Frank Bailey Jr. and Justin Williamson. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at the funeral home.
