Mrs. Trudy Lois Carter McDonald, age 76, of Livingston passed from this life on Friday evening, November 15, 2019 from the comfort of her home. She was born in Overton County, Tennessee on March 22, 1943 to the late Rosier Levi & Audie May Garrett Carter. A graduate of Livingston Academy and a member of the Christ Bible Believing Church. Trudy enjoyed traveling where she had been to 18 states and 2 countries. She had a strong faith in God, and loved her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Trudy leaves behind her sons, Tony Carter & wife Teresa of Huber Heights, OH, Gary McDonald & wife Rita of Monroe, TN, Larry McDonald & wife Betty of Monroe, TN, and Jeff McDonald & wife Dana of Allons, TN; brothers, James Carter & wife Dodie of Hilham, TN, and Dewain Carter & wife Emily of Anderson, IN; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Trudy was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Amos McDonald; sisters, Agnes Phillips, Cozetta Bilyeu, and Kitcy Bilbrey; and brother, Arlas "Dutely" Carter.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2019 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Pastor Greg Watson will officiate. Burial to follow in the Allens Chapel Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Sunday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home.
Pallbearers to serve are Brian McDonald, Ryan McDonald, Brandon McDonald, Jaylon McDonald, Joshua Smith, Brent Stockton, and Billy Witt.
