James Hugh Sudduth, 88, a retired Electrician, died November 15, 2019 at Clarksdale Nursing Center. Visitation is Monday November 18, 2019, 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS. Funeral services are 11:00 A.M. Monday at Meredith-Nowell Chapel in Clarksdale, MS with burial in the Memorial Gardens. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.

Mr. Sudduth was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and VFW Post 3936. He served his country in the U.S. Army serving in Korean War. He received the Bronze Service Star and Purple Heart.

Survivors include sons Jim Sudduth of Lyon, MS and Walter Sudduth (Stephanie) of Clarksdale, MS; grandchildren Hillary Porter, Landry Jaco, Kelsi Sudduth, Kailee Barringer, Dale Barringer, Josh Sudduth and Grace Cochran and great-grandchildren Mackenzie Sudduth, Emily Porter, Jacob Smith, Estella Ferguson, Natalie Cochran, Jason Cochran, Andrew Moran and Charlie Gray Rawson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Angelina Mangialardi Sudduth, daughter Mary Angelina Sudduth, parents Walter James and Ethel Carlisle Sudduth and sisters Becky Johnson and Annie Laura Roach.
