48 year old Kimberly Ann McCowan of Smithville died Friday night at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a CNA for Nurse One Home Health.

She attended the Smithville First Baptist Church. The family has chosen direct cremation.

A memorial service will be Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at the Upper Helton Baptist Church in Alexandria. Visitation will Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Rudy Walker McCowan, Four brothers, Johnny Paul Cobble, Larry Cobble, James Cobble, and Tommy McCowan.

She is survived by her son, Heath and wife, Lindsay Murphy of Smithville. Two daughters, Kayla Adams and Felicia Murphy both of Smithville, Four grandchildren, Katelyn Walz, Carrie Carroll, Haley Carroll and Raegan Murphy all of Smithville. One brother, Bill Cobble of Smithville.

The family requests that donations be given to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses, in lieu of flowers.
