Everett Ray Widner was born in Cass Co., Indiana, the 2nd child of atleast 4 children of Harry Theodore Widner and Flora A. Scott. He married Inez Ruth McDowell, also of Cass Co. On the 1930 census "Everett and Inez" are a young married couple with no children and Ray is listed as a painting contractor. In April of 1971 Ray died and his wife, Ruth passed away much later, in 1997. They are buried in the Little Deer Creek Cemetery where they share a headstone with Ruth's sister and brother-in-law, Martha (McDowell) Young and James Young.
