ENGINEER DIES AFTER ILLNESS
S.S. Scovil Had Resided in Butte for Last 20 Years.
Sylvanus S. Scovil, 65-year-old South Side resident died this morning at his home, 345 South Main street, following a brief illness.
Mr. Scovil was an engineer for the Unique Cleaning company. He had made his residence in the Mining City for the last 20 years. He was born in Utah.
Surviving are sons, Ray and Keith Scovil; daughters, Florence and Jane Scovil, all of Los Angeles; brother-in-law and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Wegnal and Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Raymond of Salt Lake City and a nephew, J. Ralph Scovil.
Time and place of funeral will be announced later. The body is at Duggan's Merrill morturay.
