Anna M. Koschney, 94 passed away May 28, 2019.
Anna M. Koschney was born in Stiles, North Dakota to Katherine and Anthony Zupon. Growing up in a large family. On October 19, 1943 Anna was united in marriage to Joseph Koschney, making their home in Cayuga and raising seven children. Anna was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. While living in Rutland, husband Joseph passed away in 1985. Anna decided to move to Hankinson, where she lived until 2007. She then moved to Woonsocket, South Dakota and stayed with her daughter, Theresa. After Theresa’s death the following year, Anna continued to live in Woonsocket. In 2014 she moved to Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and lived with daughter Maggie and family. Later that year, Anna moved to Maranatha assisted living. She kept active with many hobbies/crafts and was an avid reader.
Anna was very kind, and always opened her arms and her home to whom ever would stop by.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Koschney and children; Anthony, Joe Jr. and Theresa.
She is survived by her children; Linda Fechtner, Maggie (Gordon) Johnsrud, Betty (Willard) Hoeft and Phil (Dot) Koschney; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friend, Alberta Fink.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Frank Family Funeral Home, Hankinson, ND. Memorials preferred to Presbyterian Homes and Services (Optage Hospice).
