She was born October 19, 1940 in Covington to the late Harry Payne Rose and Bertha Florence Bush.

She was also preceded by nine of her siblings:

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm, Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Persinger Memorial Cemetery in Covington, VA.
