She was the daughter of Charles Judson Inman and his second wife Adaline Dalton and half sister of Loretta Inman. She married first George A. Hathaway in 1901. Her second husband was Jesse Kyle Dix in 1905, and lastly on October 6, 1909, to Hud Elmer Akers. She died of chronic nephritis and was buried the next day.
