Isabelle Adams Avery, of Covington, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019, at 88 years of age. She was a member of Eastridge Community Church, where she enjoyed fellowship with her church family and volunteering as needed. Mrs. Avery was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Stewart Avery; and parents, Clarence Paul and Dessa (Edwards) Adams.

Left to honor and cherish Mrs. Avery’s memory is her son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Rhonda Avery; daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and Matthew Moore, all of Covington; grandchildren, Travis Avery, Matt Moore; as well as great-grandchild, Cainan Avery, and Kayson Jae Karr, expected soon.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Avery will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at Covington City Cemetery, Davis Street, in Covington, with Pastor Scott Moore officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, two hours prior to her service, from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346.
