Bednar, Frank Anthony, 71, born July 13, 1934, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at midnight at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. He was preceded in Death by his parents, Frank Antone Bednar and Beulah Lucinda Blunk Bednar and his oldest sister, Donna M. Peterson of Portage, Ind. He is survived by His wife of 16 years, Geneva Coffey Bednar, daughter, Kimberly S. (micheal) humphrey; sisters, Esther Bednar (Dallas) Baugher of Warsaw, Ind. and Doris Jean Bednar of East Hampton, N. Y.; brother, Clarence (Joan) Bednar of Portage, Ind.; grandchildren, Justin Bednar of Remington, Ind., Preston (Nicole) Belford of Soddy Daisy, Michaela Humphrey of Soddy Daisy; grest-granddaughter, Jade E. Belford, also of Soddy Daisy; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 24 in the sanctuary of Straight Gospel Missionary Baptist Church in Talbott with the Rev. Ralph Turner officiating with interment to follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 in the chapel of Mayes Mortuary. Arrangements by Mayes Mortuary in Morristown, Tenn.
