Mrs. Mary Jane [McCrellis] Wonders, aged 61 years died at her home, 1142 Bedford Street, Seventeenth Ward [Johnstown Cambria County Pennsylvania].
She was the Widow of Martin Lester Wonder, a former merchant of Walnut Grove, who died in 1910.
Mrs. Wonder was a daughter of Guy and Catherine (Ready) McCrellis.
Her father was a native of Vermont and her mother of Pennsylvania.
Miss McCrellis and Martin L. Wonder were married in Moxham [part of Johnstown] May 1891.
Survived by a son, Jesse Wonder, of 1157 Solomon Road
Three daughters:
[1.] Catherine, wife of Walter Griffith, of 1220 Bedford Street;
[2.] Florence, wife of Paul Worrell; and
[3.] Ida, wife of Boyd Wolf,- both of 1142 Bedford Street, and two grandsons.
Mrs. Wonder was a sister of Mrs. C. H. Dyer, of Wertz road, and Dr. F. E. McCrellis, of Blue Earth, Minnesota. She was a half-sister of Edson O. Diggin, of 1140 Bedford Street.
Member of Homestead Avenue United Brethren Church for 30 years.
Assistant teacher of the Dorcas Bible Class on the Sunday School.
Superintendent of the school's Home Department.
Member of Oakland Women's Christian Temperance Union.
Interment will be in the family plot in Grandview Cemetery [Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania].
