Obituary: C. Richard Harrison, age 73, of North Ridgeville, OH passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 at his home. He was born in Wheeling, WV and grew up in Clarksburg. He had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1978, moving from Columbia, TN. He received his BA in Political Science from Salem College and a BS in Business Administration from West Virginia University in 1972, where he also studied Labor Relations. Richard served as a Pilot in the US Navy from 1969-1972. He worked as Human Resource Manager for Advanced Ceramics, which is a Union Carbide Company, in Lakewood, for 27 years, retiring in 2001. He was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his wife Deborah (nee Olean); parents Charles Harrison and Mary Harrison; and in-laws Pete Olean and Rose Olean. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 11:30 AM at Bridgeport Cemetery, with Father Chris Turner presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, Northwest Chapter, 401 Tomahawk Dr., Maumee, OH 43537.
