Vincent was born in Collins, MO to Roy and Electa Jones Wright. He graduated from Northeast high school, KCMO. He taught school at Osceola and Weaubleau, Missouri before he moved to Santa Clara, California, to teach Science and Math in the Santa Clara School District.
Then in about 1973/74 he moved to Cabool, Mo, to be a principal of the school, and then back to Collins and taught and was the principal at Humansville, Missouri school.
He was a member of the Coon Creek Baptist Church, Collins, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean Wright; and his daughter, Sara.
Survivors include a son and two daughters and four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
