Patricia Bess, 54, of 840 Neunert Road died Thursday, December 4, 1997, in an automobile accident in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
Mrs. Bess was a homemaker. She was active for many years in Christ Lutheran School functions. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob.
She was born September 10, 1943, in Lilbourn, Mo., to Brown and Edith (Coffee) Middleton. She married Donald L. Bess on May 17, 1962. He was killed in the accident with her.
Survivors include one son, Richard Allen Bess of Gorham; two daughters, Jamie Dawn Taylor of Murphysboro and Rebecca Bess of Gorham; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas L. and Doris Bess of Ava; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Katie Taylor of Murphysboro; her mother; one sister, Charlotte Taylor of Bloomfield, Mo.; and four brothers, J.R., Barry and Brad Middleton, all of Advance, Mo., and Gary Middleton of Scott City, Mo
Her father preceded her in death.
