YORK Charles M. Gotwalt, Jr., died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at 8:30 p.m. at York Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia J. (Kopp) Gotwalt, with whom shared 42 years of marriage. He was the son of the late Charles M. and Addie Gotwalt. The services and burial were private in Prospect Hill Cemetery. John W. Keffer Funeral Home, Inc., East York, was entrusted with the arrangements. Charles attended William Penn High Senior High School and served in the U.S. Navy during WWll. He retired from Joyce Corporation, formerly Cole Steel. Charles was also a master cabinetry maker. He was a member of the Shiloh American Legion. In addition to his wife, Patricia, Charles is survived by a son, Randall M. Gotwalt, and a daughter, Lonna R. Emig; stepchildren, Sherry Householder and Terry Hundley; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and three great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Landis.
