Herman H. Shutt, 83, of 702 7th Northmeadow Village, Normal, died at 2:06 a.m. yesterday (March 30, 1986) at Mennonite Hospital, where he had been a patient since March 6. His funeral will be at 1 p.m.
Tuesday at Metzler Memorial Home, the Ilev. David Bultemeier officiating. Burial will be in Heyworth Cemetery, Heyworth. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the memorial home.
He was born Sept. 18, 1902, in Chatham, a son of Charles M. and Emma L. Barbee Shutt.
He married Alice Davis Aug. 23, 1921, in Springfield.
He later married Inez Allen Arbuckle on Feb. 3, 1973, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Eloise Rundles, El Paso; a stepdaughter, Coleen Bryan,
Armington; a stepson, Eugene Arbuckle, Normal.
