Stephanie Ray Williams, was better known as Stevie. Stevie was the daughter of Ray A Williams and Helen Duncan Williams.
Stevie was born in Dallas while her parents went to school at Oregon College of Education. The family moved to the coast while Ray taught school. Later they moved to Forest Grove were, Stevie attended Harvey Clark Elementary, Lincoln Jr High and Forest Grove High School graduating with the class of 1965.
She then joined her older sister Janie and attended Oregon College of Education (Northwestern) in Monmouth Oregon receiving her BA in Special Education.
Stevie married her high school sweetheart in 1970 Joel Martinez. They had one son.
Stevie went on to teach at Bend Oregon and later for Longview School District while living in Longview she met and married Jim Wray in 1976. Stevie left teaching for a while to raise her son and Jim's son and daughter. While the couple was living in Vancouver WA they had a son.

Jim's work took the family up to Seattle Wash. While living in Seattle Stevie became a Nanny for some of top families in Seattle. After hearing she had cancer Stevie was not going to let it beat her. She fought hard and long. Years longer than her doctors thought.

When she knew the cancer was getting the best of her. She wanted to have one last Christmas with her family in Forest Grove.
Christmas 2006 was one Christmas Stevie's family will always remember. For this was to be the last Christmas holiday we would have with Stevie.
Stevie was at home when she passed away with her husband, son at her side.

Stevie was laid to rest in the family plot next to her Mother, Grandparents Chester and Naomi Williams and an Uncle Norman Buster Brown.
