Sambo (aka Sam) Rogers was the first child Slave Child of David Rogers and Harriet Rogers. The story went that he was not given as a gift to one of the daughters because of his skin color. Sambo was very light skinned with blue eyes and did not look like a slave.
Sambo Married Elizabeth/Liza and they had 10 children:
Sam Jr, Susan, Josphine, Aberam/Abraham/John sr, Jim L, Elizabeth, Jesse, Willie, and Pink all last name Rogers. they lived in North Carolina.
